In addition to all the fun we’ve already mentioned, we are asking one favor...Following the outdoor cocktail hour and tours, we are staging a quick-as-possible “mock wedding ceremony” for the purposes of getting some much-needed photography to use for our marketing! (what better opportunity than having a bunch of gorgeous people gathered at our venue, right??). All we ask is that you wear summer wedding-y attire (see more with the QR code), fix the back of your hair, and sit pleasantly for about 15 minutes! This will be your gift to us!

Attire: Because we are photographing our “ceremony” (wink, wink), we ask that attire is casual summer wedding (think: sundresses, skirts or summery pants for us girls and collared short-sleeved shirts and khakis for the guys (jackets not required), and definitely comfy shoes for us all). Let’s look the part but be as cool and comfortable as we can!

WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

Gate entrance:  This will be updated as we get closer to date…Keep checking back! 

​

Parking: Parking will be in the grass alongside the entrance driveway as you come in. We have a small parking lot adjacent to the venue (watch for signs just past the Farmhouse to turn right) with a circle drive for drop-off. This lot will fill quickly and overflow. If you are able to park along the entrance drive and walk, we ask that you please do so to honor our other guests who may not be able to manage the walk as easily.  Please avoid blocking roadways or parking in areas belonging to the neighbors (street across from the venue, for example).  You will also see the Opry Barn and its adjacent fire pit across the street~ this area is not part of Woodhaven so please stay within the large 14 acres of property that is part of our venue.

Venue guidelines: Since this is a venue with liability, we will ask that the rules that we will have for our future customers be followed for this private event as well. There will be designated smoking areas, no outside liquor to be brought in, no drugs of any kind on the property, and we will be ending the music at a reasonable hour out of respect for our neighbors.   Although we welcome your kids to celebrate with us, we will not have anyone (other than you, parents) designated to watch your children. There are some large drainage holes and other potentially unsafe areas so please be mindful and attend to your kids throughout the evening. Also, our venue is brand new, so please keep in mind the possibility of damage that could be done if unsupervised (I’ve just heard stories from other venue owners~ I know your kids would never, but I just have to say it!!).

A block of rooms is being held for this event at the newly renovated Fall Creek Falls State Park Lodge! This hotel is in the heart of the park (the entrance to the park is about 3 miles from the venue). The rooms and facilities are gorgeous…right on the water! Please hurry though, the discounts and reservations are only honored through JULY 9!!
